What you can expect

  • Do as the locals do and learn how to make 2 Italian classics. This evening class introduces you to the histories and methods of making authentic pizzas and delicious gelato before you enjoy a dinner of your very own creation.

With the guidance of a professional local pizza chef, create your very own pizza from scratch. Stretch the dough, layer it with sauce and cheese, place it in the oven, and get ready to slice up and devour your work. Chances are this will be one of the best pizzas you've ever eaten.

After pizza, it's time to make Italy's favourite dessert—gelato. Learn about the raw ingredients—and how to select the best products available. Enjoy an insightful presentation and a taste of some of the flavours used in gelato making. Learn about the development and application of natural colours, as well as the heating and freezing techniques that go into creating this much-loved dessert.
