Come surf at Cabedelo beach, in Figueira da Foz, with a group class designed for you to evolve in a safe and fun way — and with filming + video analysis to understand what's really happening in your waves.
The class is 90 minutes long and is organised into three parts. You'll start by getting kitted out at school with your suit and board, then head to the beach with the group for a warm-up with mobility and activation exercises (often with simple games and exercises). Next, you'll get a clear theoretical explanation of surfing techniques, how the equipment works, essential safety rules, and how the session will go in the water. This is the perfect time to ask questions.
Before you go into the sea, you'll practice the movements you'll do in the water on the sand to gain confidence and coordination. From there, the most anticipated part begins: going into the sea with the coach in the water, catching foams and small waves, and adjusting the practice to your level. As you progress, you'll be guided towards more challenging and demanding waves.
At the end, you'll head back to the school for the part that really speeds up your learning: a video analysis of your waves. The footage is taken from the beach, and you'll get written feedback (by email or WhatsApp), which is perfect for those who want continuous monitoring and clear goals for the next session.
