What you can expect

Have you ever felt that a city speaks to you? Bath is not only beautiful… it is magnetic, elegant, full of history and mystery. And if you join me, I assure you that you will not only see it… you will feel it.

I'm Olga, a local guide who has been in love with the UK for over 20 years. This tour is not just a walk: it's a journey through time, a conversation with the past, an experience designed for the curious, the romantic, the traveller, and the dreamer. What can you expect from this tour? I'll take you to the most iconic spots and tell you the most surprising stories:
We start in front of the Guildhall, Bath's former town hall, next to Rebecca's Fountain (1861), an elegant Victorian fountain inspired by the Bible and a symbol of hospitality. Opposite Bath Abbey, we will learn about its history since the 7th century, its Gothic details, and practical information for your visit.
The Pump Room Restaurant. This 18th-century Georgian hall was a meeting place for drinking thermal waters and the setting for anecdotes linked to Jane Austen. Sally Lunn, Historic Eating House & Museum We will visit the oldest house in Bath, famous for the “Sally Lunn Bun” and the storey of its creator, a French refugee. Abbey Green
A picturesque cobbled square surrounded by 18th-century houses. Here we will talk about its charm, its appearances in films, and its peaceful atmosphere. The Roman Baths In front of the original Roman baths, we will explain how they came to be built around the sacred spring of the goddess Sulis Minerva and how they worked. Includes practical tips for your visit.
The Cross Bath. A smaller but historic spa with natural outdoor thermal waters. Here we will talk about the origin of these thermal waters, their healing tradition, and the current Thermae Spa. Theatre Royal One of the oldest and most beautiful theatres in the United Kingdom, opened in 1805. We will review its history and discover curious anecdotes about its contemporary history.
Queen Square. Surrounded by elegant Georgian buildings, Queen Square was the temporary residence of Jane Austen. Here we will introduce the Jane Austen Centre, dedicated to her life and work. The Circus. A perfect architectural circle formed by Georgian houses designed by John Wood Sr. Inspired by Stonehenge, it symbolises the connection between nature, history, and art.
The Royal Crescent. An icon of Georgian architecture, it offers a breathtaking view over the gardens of Royal Victoria Park. We will share some interesting facts about its former residents. Pulteney Bridge. We end the tour on this 18th-century bridge over the River Avon. Inspired by the Ponte Vecchio in Florence, it has shops on both sides. A perfect place for photos and farewells.
“It's not just what you see, it's what you learn, what you feel and what you remember forever.” Ready to discover Bath like never before? Book now and let yourself be carried away by a city that looks like something out of a novel… and by a guide who can't wait to show it to you.
