What you can expect

  • Opened in 2024, Potsdam's newest viewing platform is a real insider tip and the perfect photo spot. From the Garnisonkirche, you have the best view of the UNESCO World Heritage city of Potsdam with its magnificent palaces and gardens and of the historical centre. Enjoy the beautiful views and plan your city tour here. The glass lift or 365 steps will take you to a height of 57 metres.
The exhibition in the Garnisonkirche, “Faith, Power and the Military,” raises awareness of threats to democracies and promotes a pluralistic society. You can expect a critical examination of the history of the place in the context of German and European history – with impressive exhibits, pictures, documents and multimedia stations.
End your visit to the Garnisonkirche in style! The “Le Petit Café” right by the tower of the Garnisonkirche offers you French dishes and refreshing drinks in a cosy atmosphere. Enjoy quiche, croques, salads, and the finest pastries with views of the tower. Cosy indoor seating or the sun terrace await you.
    All areas are wheelchair accessible.
