Overview

Discover the DMZ's hidden history on our Exclusive JSA Experience Museum and Korea DMZ Tour from Seoul. As one of only two tour agencies with privileged access to the JSA Experience Museum, your visit offers a unique ending with an in-depth and interactive insight into Panmunjom and the Joint Security Area you cannot get on any other 3rd Tunnel DMZ tour!

We begin by entering the DMZ to see all the key sites, including walking through the Third Infiltration Tunnel, and gazing into North Korea from Dora Observatory, spotting Kaesong City, the propaganda village, and more on clear days.

And then, to finish the day, we will have exclusive, unrestricted access to the JSA Museum. Here we will explore immersive exhibits, historical photos, war archives, multimedia displays, and recreated T2/T3 conference rooms that vividly bring the Korean Peninsula's storey to life.

Perfect for first-time visitors seeking a rare, unforgettable perspective on one of the world's most symbolic borders.

DMZ
  • 30m
  • Admission ticket included
Dive into the Demilitarised Zone in South Korea on this DMZ Tour from Seoul. Explore one of the world’s most heavily fortified borders that has divided North and South Korea since the 1953 armistice. Experience the tense 4km-wide buffer zone, observe North Korean territory from viewpoints, visit historic sites like the Third Tunnel and Dora Observatory, and feel the eerie stillness of this frozen conflict line. PLUS AN ALL EXCLUSIVE visit to the JSA Experience Museum!!
Imjingak Pyeonghoa-Nuri Park
  • 40m
Imjingak Pyeonghoa-Nuri Park marks the symbolic entrance to the DMZ, with peace monuments, unification sculptures, and open lawns reflecting hopes for Korean reconciliation. Visitors walk among memorials and enjoy scenic river views. It opened in 2005 following the World Peace Festival to promote peace and unity.
Bridge of Freedom
  • 30m
The Bridge of Freedom is the historic railway bridge over the Imjin River where 12,773 Korean War POWs returned home in 1953 after the armistice. View the preserved section with bullet-scarred remnants and attached messages of hope. It stands as a powerful symbol of liberation and enduring division.
Paju Imjingak Peace Gondola (DMZ Gondola)
  • 1h
  • Admission ticket included
(Optional included in "JSA Museum & DMZ Tour +Gondola" and "Best DMZ Package (All Options)" add-on option) The Paju Imjingak Peace Gondola offers a unique aerial ride over the Civilian Control Zone towards the DMZ. Passengers enjoy panoramic views of the border landscape from cable cars. It is the world's first gondola to cross into a DMZ area, providing a peaceful perspective on a tense frontier.
Unification Bridge
  • 10m
  • Admission ticket included
The Unification Bridge crosses the Imjin River, symbolising hopes for reconnection between North and South Korea. Tour participants cross it by bus after a military checkpoint to reach deeper restricted-access sites within the DMZ. It is nicknamed "Cow Bridge" because Hyundai founder Chung Ju-yung drove 1001 cows across it to North Korea in 1998 as a gesture of goodwill and business outreach.
The Third Tunnel
  • 1h
  • Admission ticket included
One of the main highlights of the tour is The Third Tunnel of Aggression, also known as The Third Infiltration Tunnel, and is a North Korean-dug infiltration tunnel discovered in 1978, capable of moving up to 30,000 troops per hour towards Seoul. Descend to walk inside (wearing hard hats) and view its scale, or simply look around outside if you are claustrophobic or cannot handle steep inclines. It remains one of four known invasion tunnels under the border.
Dora Observatory
  • 1h
  • Admission ticket included
Dora Observatory is the closest viewpoint to North Korea in the DMZ, offering binoculars to spot Kaesong city, propaganda signs, and guard posts. Visitors gaze northward from the 500-seat facility. It provides the clearest civilian glimpse into North Korean territory from South Korea.
Tongilchon-gil
  • 20m
Tongilchon (Unification Village) is a peaceful farming community just outside the DMZ, home to around 480 residents growing high-quality produce like soya beans, rice and ginseng. Explore the village and shop for local specialities. Residents, often from divided families, receive special benefits for living in this frontline area.
JSA Museum
  • 30m
  • Admission ticket included
This exclusive JSA Experience through the JSA Museum is available only to travellers on your tour. Through immersive visual and audio exhibits, visitors can explore the history of the Korean War and gain a realistic glimpse of the Joint Security Area (JSA). The museum also features a JSA-style space that recreates a currently closed area to the public, offering a unique and engaging DMZ experience you cannot get on other DMZ tours.
Gamaksan Chulleong Bridge
  • 1h
  • Admission ticket included
(Optional included in "JSA Museum & DMZ Tour + Bridge" and "Best DMZ Package (All Options)" add-on option) Gamaksan Chulleong Bridge AKA the Red Suspension Bridge is a thrilling towerless suspension footbridge swaying 150 metres across a valley near the DMZ. Walk its length for stunning mountain and nature views. It is South Korea's longest bridge of its type, harmoniously blending with the surrounding landscape. Located in the Civilian Control Line area, it offers a rare peaceful experience just steps from the tense border zone. The site commemorates fierce Korean War battles, including the heroic but tragic stand of the Gloucestershire Regiment's 1st Battalion against overwhelming Chinese forces in 1951.
