. As an starter, let us savour a few sips of Provence's wines, delicately infused with the citrus fruits of Menton, crafted by one of the region's most renowned fruit producers.
. After the wines, what could be better than tasting Socca? Socca is our famous local pancake made from chickpea flour. We enjoy it simply, served warm with a sprinkle of black pepper on top.
. Next, it’s time to explore the charming market of Menton. Here, we’ll meet local producers and stop at Giuseppe’s shop to enjoy some toasts topped with tapenade. This delightful paste, made from either black or green olives with a hint of lemon, beautifully captures the essence of Menton.
. Then, we will gather around a table in the shade of the market hall and indulge in a selection of local specialities: Pichade, Barbajuan, Courgette Tarte and Mushroom Tarte flavoured with truffle oil.
. The 5th stop will take us to Plage des Sablettes where many restaurants of Menton settled to offer both a great view at the sea and delightful dishes. We will sit around the table of famous chef Maoro Calogreco and will taste Italian cheese while tasting Provençal wine. Such a nice time!
. The 6th tasting is about the white truffle! We will taste different creams and pastes prepared in the Italian way with white truffle from Alba.
. Time for desert!
Let’s indulge in tarte au citron! This classic lemon tart from Menton is cherished for its vibrant citrus flavour and delightful contrast of textures.
We are also delighted to introduce you to the exquisite orange cake crafted by chef Mauro Colagreco, perfectly paired with a rich Italian espresso!
. Let's end our tour with a few sips of Limoncello liquor, you will love it!
