An unforgettable excursion: ascent by Cable Car and 4x4 Bus up to 2850m (tickets not included, 45 € per person to be purchased at the meeting point). From here the route begins on foot, a fascinating stage will be that on some extinct craters, eruptive vents and lava fractures. It will continue to Barbagallo craters at 3000 metres. From here you can observe the majestic Summit Craters and admire recent lava flows (01-12-2023), until you reach the inside of a lava flow channel. You will visit the effusive vent of the 2002 eruption and from here you will descend along the sands to Montagnola from where you will observe the Valle del Bove, a great volcano-tectonic depression. Breathtaking panorama that arouses in visitors a feeling of arcane power that few other places in the world can convey. The return walk by cable car allows you to take a last look at this enchanting lunar landscape, for about 4 hours of total walking
