You travel by comfortable shared transport towards Essaouira. The drive takes about 3 hours and includes 3 short stops. One stop is at a Berber women’s argan oil association, where travellers can see how traditional argan oil is made. Once in Essaouira, travellers have free time to explore the old Medina, local souks, Moulay El Hassan Square, the jeweler’s quarter, and the city’s ocher-colored walls. Travellers can also visit the fishing port, see the blue boats, walk near the beach, and enjoy the calm seaside atmosphere. There is time to stop for a fresh fish lunch at a local restaurant. In the late afternoon, travellers meet the driver and return to Marrakech, arriving around 19:00.
