Activity itinerary

Westhaven Marina
  • 30m
Westhaven Marina is the largest yacht marina in the Southern Hemisphere. The marina has almost 2,000 yachts and is known to be fully booked. There are many yachts to admire and a well-maintained promenade along the waterfront in Auckland, known as the 'City of Sails'. It is a place where you can take Instagram-worthy photos with Auckland's landmark Sky Tower and Harbour Bridge in the background.
Mount Eden
  • 40m
Mount Eden is called Maungawhau in Maori. It is one of the 14 Tūpuna Maunga (ancestral mountains) in the Auckland region. It is an extinct volcano that erupted 28,000 years ago and is now 196 metres high, making it the highest volcano in Auckland. From the summit of Mount Eden, you can enjoy stunning views of Auckland City and the harbour to the east, west, north, south and south. A flat track has been created along the well-preserved crater, which is about 50 metres deep, so you can enjoy the views of Auckland without much difficulty.
Winter Garden Auckland Domain
  • 30m
The Domain Wintergarden is located within the Auckland Domain and is a Grade 1 Historic Site listed by New Zealand Heritage. The Wintergarden consists of two large glass conservatories. One is an unheated temperate conservatory and the other is a tropical conservatory (heated to an average temperature of 28°C). Between the two conservatories is a courtyard with several neoclassical sculptures and a pond in the centre. The Wintergarden conservatory offers a year-round display of colourful flowers.
Mission Bay
  • 40m
Mission Bay has soft white sand and wide lawns, making it a great place for swimming, sunbathing, and picnicking. People enjoy swimming and surfing at the beach. If you follow Tamaki Drive towards Mission Bay, you will be immersed in the beautiful scenery. There is a fountain in the middle of the wide lawns of Selwyn Domain, where you can see Rangitoto Island up close, and people enjoy leisurely time on the beach benches or in the park. You can have a meal or enjoy a sweet ice cream at the beach cafes and restaurants.
Ladies Bay Beach
  • 10m
Located near St. Heliers, Ladies Bay Beach is a small, quiet, and secluded beach surrounded by green trees. Also known as a nude beach, it is reached by stairs, but you can get out of the car for a moment and look down at the beach through the trees. As you go down the beach, you can see Rangitoto Island closer and have a great view of the city in the background. If you are lucky, you can also see dolphins or whales in the distance.
Achilles Point
  • 20m
Achilles Point commemorates the Battle of the River Plata in 1939, when the Royal New Zealand Navy ship Achilles defeated the legendary German cruiser Graf Spee. The lookout at Achilles Point is a great place to watch a breathtaking sunrise or sunset, with views as far west as Auckland City and the distant peaks of the Coromandel Peninsula to the east.
Michael Joseph Savage Memorial Park
  • 40m
The Michael Joseph Savage Memorial Park is located on the top of Bastion Point, overlooking Waitemata Harbour and Rangitoto Island. It has a stunning panoramic view and is located on a total of 49 hectares of land, and is notable for its tall obelisk and a mirrored pond amidst well-maintained gardens. Visit this place, which houses a memorial to Michael Joseph Savage, the founder of the New Zealand welfare state, and enjoy a peaceful retreat in New Zealand.
