3-hour culinary city tour through Hamburg's new, forward-looking district on the Elbe: HafenCity.

The tour starts with your cheerful tour guide in the heart of HafenCity. From here, you have a great view of the Cruise Centre HafenCity. The group then strolls towards the Überseequartier, and the first tasting is already waiting to pamper your palate.

During the guided tour of the unique Speicherstadt, you will then learn why the historic warehouse complex is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Most of the office buildings were built in the 1920s and used purely as offices. The goods stored in Speicherstadt were managed and resold. Then the group passes the former customs canal and crosses one or more of the numerous bridges. Let yourself be captivated by the unique Speicherstadt with its characteristic Neo-Gothic brick warehouses. Then a hidden courtyard awaits you, where we will hear exciting stories about Hamburg originals.

With so much information, a visit to a restaurant will once again satisfy your hunger.
Finally, take the 82-meter-long, slightly curved escalator into the interior of the Elbphilharmonie. Accompany the tour guide to the Störtebeker Bistro on the Plaza and enjoy the unique view over the harbour and the city. You will be amazed by the atmosphere of Hamburg's new landmark! This will give you the energy you need for the many facts and figures that the tour guide will share about this fascinating building.

You will be “fed” with great insider knowledge, receive information on the acoustics and architecture of the impressive Elbphilharmonie, and learn how the construction delays of the concert hall came about. Together with your tour guide, you will explore the advantages and disadvantages of this construction project. The grand finale of the tour then takes place on the Elbphilharmonie Plaza with a typical Hamburg speciality.
