Ebrû is a 500-year-old Ottoman art form where natural pigments float and dance on the surface of water — and the unique artwork you create goes home with you. No artistic experience needed. No two pieces are ever the same. I'm Nuria, Spain's only professional Ebrû specialist, trained since 2010 in Istanbul directly under Ezgi Erol Turan — master artist and one of the world's leading academics in this discipline. I'm currently editing and translating her definitive book on Ebrû art therapy into Spanish — the first of its kind in the language. In this intimate 2-hour workshop — maximum 8 people — you'll discover the history, tools and techniques of this mesmerising Ottoman tradition, then create your own original works on paper using natural, organic pigments imported directly from Istanbul's finest artisans. The session takes place at Casa Magnetika by Bolsalea — a beautiful B-Corp certified creative studio in the heart of Alicante.
