I will serve a welcome drink at the meeting spot to start the tour, presenting some souvenirs. My tour focuses on Ueno, which is not as crowded as Shibuya and Shinjuku and is less touristy. It is famous with Japanese foodies for eat out with drinks. I will order signature dishes, and we will discuss the food and drink (and you can pepper me with questions). We will visit 3 restaurants/taverns, where you will sample sashimi, grilled fish and skewered chicken and pork. (there are other options, depending on your dietary restrictions) You will also have the opportunity to try UNIQUE Japanese alcoholic drinks. (5 or more different type of drinks) After visiting these three taverns, we will end the tour at a great Ramen shop that is popular with locals. At the end of the tour, I will show you where the entrance of each train line from the last stop is, depending on where you need to go. Other things to note Pls COME HUNGRY as we are going to have a full-size meal on the day in several different restaurants included ramen!
