Millennium Bridge (Pass by)
Not to be confused with the Millennium Bridge in London, the Millennium Bridge in Dublin is the one allowing you access from one side, to the other, crossing the Liffey. The bridge opened in preparation for the new millennium in 2000 and has since then been used by pedestrians. At night, the bridge is illuminated by arches in the colours of the rainbow, making it a beautiful scenery by day and night.
O'Connell Street (Pass by)
How many monuments in one street is too many? O’Connell Street sure isn’t lacking in them. With a total of 6 major monuments on the street, not including the Spire of Light yet, there are enough interesting stories to be discovered in this street. Darkey Kelly's (Pass by)
What might look like one of Dublin’s lively and bustling pubs, actually is the scene of a darker storey one would expect. The current pub is named after the madame of a brothel in the 18th-century, Darkey Kelly. Her storey contains a scandalous pregnancy, alleged witchcraft and possibly Ireland’s first serial killer, the madame herself. Despite its dark history, the pub remains open for a local beer and a good time.
