The El Doradillo Protected Natural Area, created in 2001, is a coastal jewel located north of Puerto Madryn, which extends from Punta Arco to the majestic Cerro Prismático. This natural paradise covers a strip 25 kilometres long and 3 kilometres wide on the coast of the Golfo Nuevo, offering a unique opportunity to connect with nature at its best.

El Doradillo is a sanctuary for the Patagonian ecosystem, home to fascinating species such as guanacos, rheas, foxes, maras and a wide variety of seabirds. However, between June and October, the real protagonist of this reserve is the Southern Right Whale. During these months, these impressive creatures come within a few metres of the shore, providing one of the best land-based viewing experiences in the world. The viewing points and observatories scattered along the coast allow you to enjoy this natural spectacle in a calm and respectful way. Furthermore, every year, mother whales with their calves choose these serene and deep waters, the product of a steep slope that protects them, making this beach an incomparable setting to observe them up close.

Morning departure: Enjoy a picnic lunch by the sea, surrounded by unique landscapes. Relax and sip cool drinks while you wait for the whales to arrive.
Afternoon departure: A delicious picnic awaits you, with a complete snack that will complement the natural spectacle that you will have in front of you.
In both options, you will do a gentle trek of approximately 1000 metres along the trails that border the imposing cliffs, accompanied by expert guides who will help you interpret and connect with this unique environment. Trekking is subject to weather conditions to ensure everyone's safety and comfort.
