What you can expect

  • Bolzano is an old trading town: merchant houses and the medieval arcades characterise the historic cityscape. But new worlds open up in the immediate vicinity of the city centre: hills, vineyards, castles, chapels, and farms make Bolzano so special.
    On a walk away from the hustle and bustle of the old town, you will learn more about the diversity of this city: on an ancient path through the vineyards, you will see Bolzano from above and discover castle ruins, hidden chapels, and modern architecture. Then take a look behind the walls of an old wine farm and taste fine wines from the vineyards that have been cultivated here for nearly 1,000 years in the atmospheric tasting room.
