Models, instruments, and authentic black and white films also appeal to adult visitors. The museum tells the storey about lifeboatmen, rescue missions, lifeboats, the Rescue Company, ship’s communications, and navigation.

In the museum harbour, find the impressive and still active fleet. Daily boat tours through the beautiful inner harbour of Den Helder are available from April until the end of October.
