What you can expect

We will begin our tour at the fountain in the Plaza Mayor, right in front of the Cathedral.

From there, we will head to the beautiful area of San Miguel, birthplace of the Marquis of Moya, a close friend and protector of Isabella I of Castile. Here you will find one of the first churches in Cuenca, where today they put on an immersive light show that has won several international awards.

From the San Miguel area, we will head towards the Plaza de la Merced, where we will see the Mangana Tower, which has marked the hour in the city since the 16th century.

Later, we will visit the skyscrapers of San Martín and Santa Catalina, buildings that began to be constructed at the end of the 15th century, earning them the title of the first skyscrapers in Spain, as well as the tallest houses in Europe until the 19th century.

From there, we will continue our tour to the Hanging Houses, the great symbol of Cuenca, and the San Pablo Bridge, opposite the Parador Nacional de Turismo, the former Dominican Convent and Padres Paúles.

We will return to the Plaza Mayor to visit the Cathedral, the first Gothic-style cathedral in Spain and the city's true monument, ending at the Florencio Cañas viewpoint to enjoy some wonderful views.
