Start your day early with a 6:00 AM hotel pickup in Nairobi and set off on a scenic drive along the Nairobi–Nyeri highway, passing through the rich agricultural landscapes of Central Kenya.
Enjoy a refreshing stop at Karatina town for a cup of local Kenyan coffee before continuing your journey to Naro Moru Gate, the starting point of your adventure.
Upon arrival, meet your professional guide for a short briefing about the hike. You will then proceed in a 4x4 vehicle along the Naro Moru track to the Met Station trailhead.
Begin your guided hike through the dense rainforest of Mount Kenya National Park, home to unique flora, birdlife, and wildlife. Your guide will help you spot species and explain the ecosystem as you ascend.
Reach the Met Station, where you’ll take a break and enjoy your packed lunch while soaking in stunning panoramic views of the mountain and surrounding landscapes.
After relaxing and exploring the area, descend back to Naro Moru Gate where your driver will be waiting to transfer you back to Nairobi, arriving in the late afternoon.
