    Roll up your sleeves and step into a local kitchen where you'll use traditional tools like the mbuzi (coconut scraper), ungo (sieve), and kinu (mortar and pestle) to prepare classic dishes like ugali, pilau, or chapati. The class is designed for everyone, from seasoned cooks to beginners, and you'll leave with recipes to try at home.

    Experience cooking in a homely, traditional environment equipped with iconic tools such as the chungu (clay pot), sufuria (steel pot) and mikeka (woven mats). This immersive setup ensures you get an authentic taste of Tanzanian life.

    Enjoy the fruits of your labour with a sit-down feast of the dishes you prepared, paired with refreshing drinks like hibiscus juice or maziwa mgando. Seasonal vegetables complement every meal, ensuring you taste the freshest flavours. Optional add-ons like, exotic fruit platters and a refreshing coconut drink are available for a relaxing experience after a busy day as well as handmade Tanzanian souvenirs like beaded sandals, waist beadsand Tanzanian or Maasai cloth.

    IMPORTANT: Please book at least 48 hours before the experience even if allows you to book. We are available every day from 6am to 11pm as long as advance notice is given.
