Begin your tour with pickup from your hotel and relax as you journey to the Dandenong Ranges. Arrive at the Belgrave railway station and hop on the historic Puffing Billy steam train. This restored steam train travels along its original mountain track to Menzies Creek on a picturesque, 30-minute route through the mountain ash and towering eucalyptus of Sherbrooke Forest.

Disembark at Grants Reserve in the Dandenong Ranges and immerse yourself in the serenity of the ancient rainforest. Breathe in the crisp mountain air as you enjoy typical Aussie billy tea with scones, strawberry jam, and cream. While here, experience the thrill of feeding native birds by hand. Cockatoos, parrots, and crimson rosellas all fill this forest with their lilting birdsong.

Your tour continues to the charming village of Sassafras, where you visit a local tea shop displaying over 300 varieties of tea. Take time to browse this shop and other nearby souvenir shops before travelling to the peak of Mount Dandenong.
