Overview

  • Daegu's Oldest Market, a UNESCO Village & a Clifftop View

    — What You'll Experience —

    • Daegu Seomun Market
Dating back to the Joseon Dynasty, Seomun Market is Daegu's largest and most beloved traditional market. Wander lively alleys packed with food stalls, fabric shops, and local snacks — try Daegu's signature flat dumplings, noodles or crispy hotteok fresh off the griddle.

    • Buyongdae Cliff
Rising above the Nakdong River directly across from Hahoe Village, Buyongdae Cliff offers the single most dramatic view of the entire settlement — the river wrapping around the village in a graceful S-curve, framed by pine forest and sandy banks.

    • Andong Hahoe Village
A UNESCO World Heritage Site where the Pungsan Ryu clan has lived for over 600 years — without ever relocating. Walk quiet earthen-wall alleys between beautifully preserved yangban noble houses and thatched-roof commoner homes, guided by storytelling that brings the village's history and famous Hahoe masks to life.
