Overview

Join this exclusive route cycling one way through the whole of the Albufera Natural Park, home to Spain's Largest Lake, Rice Fields, Natural Beach and Paella.

In this extensive tour we will traverse distinctive zones of the Rice Fields, the Forest and the Beach. We will take a beautiful Boat Trip and have lunch in the main village of El Palmar, the home of Paella, made by the rice and ingredients from the area.

We will meet at Nord Station and take a train to reach the furthest part of the park and cycle back to Valencia. We will cycle at a casual pace, stopping regularly, using bike paths and quiet roads.
Distance 50km, all flat except one bridge and small hill. Difficulty: Appropriate for people with average fitness or occasional cyclists. We also offer E-Bikes at all extra cost of €25 each, Contact Us before you book for more details. Terrain: bike paths and quiet roads (minimal traffic). Cycling Time: 4-5 hours at a casual pace

We will enter the south side of Albufera Natural Park, the heart of the rice fields. We will visit some unique lookouts and see what the area was like before rice was grown here. You won't find this part on any other tour.
El Palmar

We will have lunch in the main village of El Palmar, the home of Paella, made by the rice and ingredients from the area.

We'll cycle along beach promenades, pine forests and sand dunes and stop off at some highlights such as a traditional A-Frame Cottage called a Barraca, a Lagoon and Forest Boardwalks.
