Discover the natural wonders and wildlife conservation efforts of Ninh Binh on this full-day eco-adventure to Van Long Nature Reserve and Cuc Phuong National Park. Your day begins with pickup from your hotel in Ninh Binh, Tam Coc, or Trang An at 07:30 AM. Travel through the peaceful countryside to Van Long Nature Reserve, the largest wetland reserve in Northern Vietnam and one of the best places to spot the critically endangered Delacour’s Langur.

At around 08:15 AM, enjoy a traditional bamboo boat ride through calm waterways surrounded by dramatic limestone mountains and lush vegetation. As you glide across the reserve, look for rare birds and Delacour’s Langurs living among the rocky cliffs. The peaceful scenery and rich biodiversity make Van Long one of the most beautiful nature destinations in Vietnam.

At approximately 10:00 AM, continue to Cuc Phuong National Park, Vietnam’s first national park and one of the country's most important biodiversity hotspots.

Arriving around 10:45 AM, visit the Endangered Primate Rescue Centre, where endangered langurs, gibbons, and other rescued primates are protected and cared for. Learn about the conservation programmes dedicated to preserving Vietnam’s unique wildlife and the challenges these species face in the wild.

At 12:00 PM, enjoy a traditional Vietnamese lunch at a local restaurant near the national park.

After lunch, at approximately 01:00 PM, visit the Bear Sanctuary, a highlight of the tour. Observe rescued Asiatic black bears and sun bears living in spacious natural habitats after being saved from illegal wildlife trade. Learn about the sanctuary’s efforts to improve animal welfare and promote wildlife conservation in Vietnam.

At 02:00 PM, continue with a guided walk through the rainforest of Cuc Phuong National Park. Explore jungle trails, discover tropical plants, and admire ancient trees while learning about the park’s remarkable ecosystem. Depending on conditions, you may also visit the historic Cave of Prehistoric Man, one of the most important archaeological sites in the region.

At approximately 04:30 PM, depart the national park and begin the return journey to Ninh Binh.

Arrive back at your hotel around 05:30 PM, ending a memorable day of wildlife encounters, conservation experiences, and natural beauty.
