We will make a short stop on the way to Cotopaxi volcano to buy snacks, use ATMs or hygienic services. In addition, we will appreciate the change of climate characteristic of the Ecuadorian wasteland. Afterwards from the car park, take a walk of about 1 hour to the José Rivas Refuge at 4.864 metres. Make sure you take your time and Acclimate you to the height. Visit the Mariscal Sucre Interpretation Centre known as the Park Museum. It features showrooms, a souvenir shop and a café.
