Explore the Côte Bleue, just outside Marseille, on a guided snorkelling tour through the heart of a protected marine park. This surface snorkelling outing is designed to be accessible and immersive: no freediving, no boat, just the pleasure of observing the Mediterranean up close, in a small group (maximum 8 participants).
The meeting point is at a location carefully chosen based on the weather, with easy access and nearby parking and toilet facilities. Your certified local guide will welcome you and provide an overview of the activity, how the marine park operates, the safety rules, and the itinerary for the excursion. You will be provided with your equipment on site (fins, mask, snorkel), then receive a technical briefing to learn the right techniques and move confidently in the natural environment. It is imperative that you can swim.
The tour departs directly from the beach, with a gradual entry into the water. The group is closely supervised by the guide, who adapts the route to the conditions and the participants’ skill level. Throughout the tour, you will observe and learn about the local biodiversity thanks to commentary: Posidonia seagrass beds, Mediterranean fish, starfish, and the rocky formations characteristic of the Côte Bleue.
Throughout the exploration, there will be floating breaks to admire the underwater scenery, ask questions, and gain a better understanding of the richness of this protected ecosystem. The return to the beach is a leisurely one, followed by a friendly discussion and a debriefing to round off this nature-focused, educational, and exotic experience.
