The Constanța Art Museum brings together valuable collections of Romanian painting, sculpture, and graphic art, displayed in two connected buildings: an elegant neoclassical building dating from 1895 and a modern extension built in the 1980s.

The permanent collection offers a chronological journey through Romanian art, from 19th-century masters such as Theodor Aman, Nicolae Grigorescu, and Ioan Andreescu to representatives of Romanian modernism and avant-garde, including Nicolae Tonitza, Theodor Pallady, Francisc Șirato, Iosif Iser, and M.H. Maxy.
