Doi Inthanon National Park Day Tour with Pha Dok Siew Nature Trail

After pickup from your hotel in Chiang Mai, begin your journey to Doi Inthanon National Park, home to Thailand’s highest peak at 2,565 metres above sea level.

Visit the King and Queen Pagodas, built to honour Thailand’s beloved monarchs. Surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens, the site offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.

Stop by a Hmong hill tribe market, part of a Royal Project initiative that supports sustainable agriculture and environmental conservation, replacing former opium cultivation.

Enjoy a tasty Thai lunch set, featuring local northern dishes.

In the afternoon, begin a 2.6 km trek along the Pha Dok Siew Nature Trail, led by a local guide. The trail winds past cascading waterfalls, lush rice terraces (in rainy season), flower gardens, coffee plantations, and diverse wildlife habitats.

Cool off at the waterfall, then continue through the peaceful Mae Klang Luang Village, home to the Karen hill tribe. Savour a cup of freshly brewed local Karen coffee amid beautiful natural surroundings.

Wrap up your adventure with a visit to the Wachirathan Waterfall, an 80-meter-high cascade framed by towering cliffs and misty spray.

Return to your hotel around 6:30–7:00 PM with unforgettable memories.
