Chacarita is a trendy area in Buenos Aires known for the bars, cafeterias, IMPERIO Pizzeria and the biggest Cemetery in the city. You can find the mausoluem of Carlos Gardel but also many tango singers, writers, presidents and locals are buried there. You'll see funerals and the local cemetery.
The creepy part: An underground necropolis. Many hallways of galleries of dead people.
Parque Chas is a residential area desinged like a labyrinth! Locals live there in streets named with europeans cities names. Beautiful houses and a quite place for walk after Chacarita. We'll try to find the centre of this curious labyrinth inside Buenos Aires!
We meet in Chacarita Cemetery main door.
We walk inside the cementery and the funeral house.
We visit the Carlos Gardel mausoleum and the famous argentinians sector.
We descend to the underground cementery and we're going to explore this hidden necropolis.
We will talk about the catholic traditions and the mystical of Argentina.
We will have a pizza in IMPERIO PIZZERIA, This Pizzeria is on the top 3 of Buenos Aires traditional restaurants (and in my opinion, is better than guerrin)
We take the subway to Parque Chas.
We explore this local area and we can try to talk with locals.
We take the challenge to find the centre of the labyrinth
We return back to the subway station and I'll give the indications to go back to the hotel
