Begin your adventure in Ortahisar and start a scenic hike through the peaceful Pancarlık Valley. Follow the crystal-clear waters of the Üzengi Stream and walk approximately 4 km through a tranquil environment surrounded by orchards, rock formations, and hidden cave dwellings.
After completing the Pancarlık section, continue into the spectacular Gomeda Valley, one of Cappadocia’s hidden gems. This approximately 6 km trail takes you through a fascinating landscape of cave houses, pigeon lofts, tunnels, and abandoned rock-cut settlements that once sheltered local communities.
Along the route, visit several important historical sites, including the ancient Kepez Church, Sarıca Church, and the old Monastery Complex (Keşişhane), and learn about the region’s rich Christian heritage and monastic history.
Midway through the hike, enjoy a picnic break in a scenic natural setting. Instead of a traditional restaurant lunch, enjoy a light picnic-style meal and refreshments while surrounded by the peaceful atmosphere of the valleys.
Conclude your hike in the charming Greek village of Mustafapaşa (formerly Sinasos), famous for its beautiful stone mansions, narrow streets, and multicultural history. Enjoy free time to explore the village, take photos, enjoy a coffee, or simply wander through its historic streets before returning to your hotel.
