Experience one of the most scenic ways to summit Table Mountain on a guided hike via Kasteelspoort. Starting above Camps Bay, the trail climbs through fynbos-covered slopes into the dramatic Kasteelspoort ravine, with incredible views of the Atlantic Ocean and the Twelve Apostles along the way.

Pass rocky sections, stone steps, and short scrambles as your qualified guide leads the route at a safe, steady pace. Visit famous viewpoints such as the Diving Board, then continue across the Back Table towards the Upper Cableway, with optional stops depending on pace and conditions.

This route is ideal for fit, active hikers looking for a more scenic and less crowded alternative to Platteklip Gorge. It finishes near the Upper Cable Station, where you can take the cable car down instead of descending on foot.

This hike is suitable for participants with a good fitness level who are comfortable on steep, uneven terrain. The cable car ticket is not included. If weather conditions make the cable car unavailable or the route unsafe, the plan may need to change for safety reasons.
