To learn more about the fascinating history of South Africa, we visit the Iziko South African Museum. The original South African Museum was founded in 1825 and is situated in the historic Company’s Gardens. The Museum houses a collection of historical artefacts and more than 1.5 million specimens of scientific importance. There’s also a Planetarium on the property. The morning or afternoon ends with a drive past Signal Hill and down Kloof Road to the seaside towns of Clifton and Camp’s Bay. The drive offers views of Table Mountain, Lions Head, Signal Hill and the Atlantic Ocean. Those who have pre-booked Option 1, we take you to Table Mountain Aerial Cableway for a trip to the top of the mountain. Otherwise, we drive back to Cape Town City along the Atlantic Seaboard.
