What you can expect
Meet your guide directly at the Sydney Cruise Terminal, where your private Jeep adventure begins. This experience is designed exclusively for cruise ship guests and is carefully timed around your ship's arrival and departure schedule.
After departing the terminal, enjoy a scenic drive through Cape Breton's beautiful countryside as you make your way towards the world-famous Cabot Trail. Along the journey, you'll stop at panoramic lookoffs, hidden viewpoints, quiet fishing villages, coastal landscapes, river valleys, and other lesser-known locations that most visitors never get to experience. Your local guide will share stories about Cape Breton's history, culture, wildlife, and way of life throughout the day.
A typical itinerary includes:
- Cruise terminal pickup (approximately 10 minutes)
- Scenic drive towards the Cabot Trail with sightseeing stops (approximately 1.5 hours)
- Visits to hidden viewpoints, coastal lookoffs, fishing villages, and local points of interest with opportunities to get out, explore, and take photos (approximately 2.5 hours)
- Optional stop at a local café or bakery to purchase food or drinks if desired (approximately 30 minutes)
- Scenic return drive with additional sightseeing stops before returning to the cruise terminal (approximately 1.5 hours)
Because this is a private tour, the itinerary can be customised to match your interests, mobility level, photography opportunities, or the amount of time your ship is in port. Your guide will adjust the pace and stops to create the best possible experience while ensuring you return to your ship well before departure.
The tour price includes private transport in a premium Jeep, a professional local guide, cruise terminal pickup and drop-off, fuel, and all applicable taxes and fees. Any optional food, drinks, or personal purchases during the tour are not included.
