Surrounded by towering snow-covered peaks, vast glaciers, and breathtaking alpine landscapes, this iconic highway offers a magical introduction to the beauty of the Canadian wilderness.

    Bow Lake
The calm, crystal-clear waters reflect the majestic surrounding mountains and dramatic glaciers, creating a breathtaking natural landscape. In winter, the lake freezes over, allowing visitors to walk out onto the ice and experience the beauty of the Canadian Rockies up close. With its peaceful atmosphere and stunning scenery, Bow Lake is an ideal spot for photography and enjoying the magic of winter in the Rockies.

    Peyto Lake
Renowned for its distinctive wolf-shaped outline and vibrant glacial waters. During winter, the lake transforms into a sparkling white landscape surrounded by snow-draped peaks and pristine forests. Take in the breathtaking views from the lookout and capture unforgettable photos of this iconic Rocky Mountain destination.

Abraham Lake (Ice Bubble Lake, weather permitting) (12/1-3/31)
Famous for its extraordinary frozen methane bubbles trapped beneath the ice, this lake offers a truly unique winter spectacle. These fascinating natural formations create mesmerising patterns beneath the icy surface, making it a winter-exclusive natural wonder and a must-see destination during the colder months.

    Sunwapta Falls (4/1-11/30)
A beautiful waterfall in Jasper National Park, known for its powerful rushing water, scenic surroundings, and picturesque forest views. Fed by the Athabasca Glacier, the falls are especially impressive in spring and early summer when the water flow is strongest.

    Athabasca Falls (4/1-11/30)
One of the most impressive waterfalls in Jasper National Park, famous for its powerful cascade, dramatic canyon, and stunning rock formations. Although not particularly tall, the force of the water rushing through the narrow gorge creates a spectacular natural sight.
