The Cali Zoo in Colombia has been managed since 1981 by the Cali Zoological Foundation, an institution dedicated to wildlife conservation, environmental education, and research. With over 2,500 animals and more than 500,000 visitors a year, it offers a learning experience, a connection with nature, and an appreciation of natural and cultural heritage.

It is a gathering place for the public that promotes the conservation of natural and cultural heritage through education and awareness-raising. Through its conservation programmes and initiatives, Cali Zoo works tirelessly to inspire a love of nature and promote the care of all living things.
