Set out for an afternoon in coastal Cairns – the tropical gateway to Far North Queensland – to immerse yourself in its culture, architecture and stunning natural setting. See breathtaking waterfalls and botanical gardens, enjoy an Aussie treat of tea and scones and stop-off at scenic, hillside lookouts.

Enjoy a convenient hotel pick-up, and ride to St. Monica’s Cathedral to admire a stunning display of the world's largest stained-glass windows depicting the Biblical story of creation. Next, stop at the trendy Edge Café for a sweet afternoon treat of tea, coffee and fresh, oven-baked scones.

After teatime, wander through the Flecker Botanical Gardens’ lush oasis of tropical flora – from palms and ferns to exquisite orchids and bromeliads. Keep your eyes peeled for the electric blue Ulysses butterfly as you meander along the green-canopied pathways.

Back on the bus, cruise up to some of Cairn’s signature vantage points, looking out for sweeping hillside views and coastal panoramas. Then continue on to the Barron Gorge National Park to marvel at the spectacular Barron and Surprise Creek Falls.

Your tour concludes at Palm Cove – a postcard-worthy beach locale perfect for a leisurely stroll along the stretch of palm-fringed white sands, before the return trip to your hotel.
