"Nurimaru APEC House" is a name combining the pure Korean words "Nuri" (world) and "Maru" (summit), with "APEC House," the venue for the APEC conference, signifying "the place where world leaders gathered to hold the APEC meeting." On November 19, 2005, leaders from 21 Asia-Pacific countries gathered at Nurimaru APEC House for the APEC Summit and a luncheon. Leaders who have visited this place have highly praised Nurimaru APEC House as the best conference venue, combining state-of-the-art conference systems, high-quality services, and the unique beauty of Korean tradition. Currently, Nurimaru APEC House has established itself as a representative landmark of Busan, visited by travellers not only from Korea but also from around the world.

Although it now boasts such beautiful scenery, its origins are intertwined with Busan's painful history. It began when refugees who had reached Gamcheon Village during the Korean War cleared the hillsides to find a place to stay. After being selected for the Village Art Project in 2009, students, artists, and residents joined forces to beautify the village, and it has since been reborn as a representative tourist attraction in Busan. Art sculptures and murals installed throughout the alleys have transformed the once-run-down Gamcheon into a vibrant village. Furthermore, various hands-on workshops and souvenir shops captivate visitors. With many workshops where you can stop by to participate in experiential programmes as you pass through, you can take home a souvenir of your own.

Songdo Skywalk (Cloud Walkway), a bridge connecting Turtle Island on the eastern side of the beach to the mainland, features sections made of transparent tempered glass, allowing visitors to feel as if they are walking in the middle of the sea. Strolling over the water, visitors can take in a panoramic view of the Songdo coastline and Songdo Beach, where numerous boats are anchored, making it an emerging new landmark of Busan's beaches. Opened in 2015, Songdo Cloud Walkway is a bridge leading directly to the sea. Passing through the tempered glass and magic grating sections on the bridge allows visitors to see the rippling ocean through the floor, providing a thrilling sensation. Furthermore, it attracts many visitors with its fantastic scenery at sunrise and sunset. This place, where nature and the city harmonise, provides people with healing and relaxation.

Jagalchi Market, named for the fist-sized pebbles found along the seashore, has been home to seafood stalls since the Japanese colonial period. As countless refugees flocked to Busan during the Korean War, wooden houses sprang up in close proximity along the coastline around Jagalchi. As stalls selling fish for a living proliferated, a large-scale seafood market naturally emerged, giving rise to today's Jagalchi Market.
