Whether you’re shooting with a DSLR, mirrorless, or just your phone, this tour takes you to the most photogenic places in and around Brașov, guided by a professional photographer and a local guide who knows the stories, angles, and hidden spots.

You’ll explore colourful architecture, dramatic landscapes, rustic villages, and secret spots at just the right time for lighting — with live tips on framing, lighting, and storytelling.

Stop 1: Old Town Brașov (Golden Hour or Morning Light)

Your local guide will lead a walking tour of Brașov’s medieval centre, sharing the fascinating stories, legends, and history behind each location you photograph.

You’ll get the best of both worlds: cultural insight + photography coaching, all in one guided experience.

We start in the historic heart of Brașov. You'll capture:
Council Square (Piața Sfatului) - colourful buildings & mountain backdrop
The dramatic Black Church and nearby hidden alleys
Rope Street, one of the narrowest streets in Europe
Street photography, architecture, and local life

Stop 2: Tampa Forest Trail (Nature Shots)

Please note: the Tâmpa cable car is currently not operating, so we’ll reach the viewpoint by hiking — and trust us, it’s worth it.

We’ll take the main forest trail starting just behind the old town, a moderate hike of around 45–60 minutes, shaded by pine trees and filled with natural light, textures, and quiet moments perfect for photography. Along the way, we’ll stop for forest portraits, light-through-the-trees shots, and candid moments of the climb itself.

At the top, you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views over Brașov’s colourful rooftops, medieval towers, and surrounding hills — an epic wide shot for your gallery.
Hike difficulty: moderate. Trail is forested, zig-zag path with steady incline. Good walking shoes recommended.

Stop 3: Șchei District & Catherine’s Gate
We end in one of Brașov’s most authentic areas — Șchei, the Romanian quarter that predates the Saxon city centre.
