What you can expect

Dive into the history of Bordeaux by checking out the Porte Cailhau, one of the city's old gates, built between 1493 and 1496 to celebrate Charles VIII's victory. This 35-meter-high monument mixes medieval and Renaissance architecture, right in the heart of the historic centre.

The tour gives you access to an exhibition on medieval Bordeaux and a panoramic view from 23 metres up of the Garonne, the Pont de Pierre, and the city's rooftops. It's a great cultural activity for a solo outing, with family, or with friends.
