Where are we going?
We start at the rotunda, which was once a train station building and is now full of life – one of the many places in Bochum where change is visible and tangible and where history, the present, and the future go hand in hand.
From there, we stroll past the Musikforum into the heart of the city. In Bochum's “Old Town,” we go on a journey of discovery: Some lovingly preserved timbered houses and many small details tell the storey of Bochum's path from a small farming town to a modern big city. Our tour finally takes us to the Rathaus and its surroundings. This is where the future plans for Bochum are forged, making it a good place to end our “Discover Bochum” tour.
