After early pickup from your central Varanasi hotel, travel by air-conditioned vehicle to a pier on the River Ganges. Gaze at Varanasi’s streets as they stir into life, and after about 30 minutes, arrive at the ghat (riverside steps) on the River Ganges where your private boat awaits. As the dawn bathes everywhere in a red glow, meet your boatman, settle aboard, and sail onto the river. Watch the pilgrims swimming in the holy waters, giving thanks for their lives. Around halfway through your cruise, pull up at a ghat and go ashore to explore.
