Discover the Untouched Coastline of Northern Pelion
Join Seanthesy Cruises for a captivating half-day expedition to the northeastern shores of Mt. Pelion. This is where rugged white cliffs meet the deep Aegean blue, creating a world of natural wonders and ancient myths. Our modern speedboat takes you to the legendary Blue Caves of Veneto, a unique geological formation accessible only by sea, where turquoise waters and ethereal light create a dreamlike atmosphere.
The Experience: Where Legend Meets the Sea
According to Greek Mythology, these very caves hosted the celestial wedding of King Peleus and the sea goddess Thetis. As you swim in these waters, you are treading where gods and heroes once gathered—the very site where the “Apple of Discord” was thrown, eventually sparking the Trojan War.
Tour Itinerary & Stops
Departure from Agiokampos
Our journey begins at the Port of Agiokampos. As we gain speed, enjoy a scenic cruise past the Ancient Port of Melivoia, the Royal Beaches of Polydendri, and the wild coasts of Rakopotamos.
The Old Mine & Alfonso’s Bay
We make a guided sightseeing stop by sea at the Old Mine, a site of industrial history, before passing the sparkling “Diamond” (Diamanti) beach. We then reach Alfonso’s Ecotourism Bay for a brief exploration of its unique natural landscape.
The Legendary Caves of Veneto
The highlight of our tour. We approach the Cave of Peleus and Thetis for a memorable swim stop. Our speedboat’s agility allows us to venture inside the magnificent Troulos Cave and the Phokia (Seal) Cave, where the reflections of the water on the cave walls create a mesmerising spectacle.
Snorkelling at the “Cave Park”
We drop anchor at the “Cave Park” for an immersive snorkelling session. We provide high-quality equipment so you can explore the rich marine life and the underwater rock formations of this protected area.
Relaxation at Limnionas Beach
Our final major stop is the pristine Limnionas Beach. Here you have time to:
Swim in crystal-clear waters and relax on the shore.
See the famous “natural refrigerator”—a unique geological feature of the beach.
If you feel adventurous, forage for wild sea herbs like rock samphire (kritamos).
Enjoy the profound silence of one of Pelion's most secluded spots.
