Overview

We'd love to take you on a trip to show you places where most of the tourist don't come!

First stop: Fonte vicente Oasis. See the the baobab tree, try nuts & baobab juice, rest on a swing and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Next stop: Curral Velho. This village was abandoned in the 19th century after continues pirate attacks.

Next stop: salt lake. (Free salt souvenir)

Next stop: morro negro lighthouse (163). Here we´ll do the local liquor tasting. Try local spirits: Grogue & Pontche.

Next stop: the colorfull town of Fundo das Figueiras to have lunch in the banana plant garden. We'll visit the “Centro de Interpretação Ambiental”, this is a museum that focusses on the conservation of sea turtles and wildlife. If that is not really your thing, then you can explore the townn instead.

We'll drive via route 66 to the viana desert where we finish the tour with some sandboarding at one of the most beautiful landscapes of the island.

Fonte Vicente

We'll start the tour by going to a location that we call the Blue lagoon. This is a place with one of the most stunning views of the island. After the blue lagoon, we'll drive to the Fonte vicente Oasis. Here you can see the "tree of life" the baobab tree, try some nuts and baobab juice, rest on a swing and just experience the beautiful surroundings.

Curral Velho

After the Oasis, we'll take you to the ghost village of Curral Velho. This is a village that was abandoned in the early 19th century after continues pirate attacks. After visiting the village we'll move on to the salt lake. It's allowed to take some salt to bring home.

Ervatão

After the salt lake you get some time to swim and relax on the beach if the sea isn´t to rough.

Morro Negro Lighthouse

After the swimbreak we'll go on to the morro negro lighthouse. The lighthouse stands on a hill of 163 metres and gives us the most beautiful view of the island. You can overlook the whole east coast of the island. At the light house we´ll do the local liquor tasting. Were you can try local spirits such as Grogue & Pontche.

Fundo das Figueiras

After the lighthouse we'll drive through the town of cabeça dos Tarrafes. We'll stop in the colorfull town of Fundo das Figueiras to have lunch in the banana plant garden. They serve traditional cape verdean food but also serve grilled chicked with french fries or cater to vegetarians.

we'll visit the "Centro de Interpretação Ambiental", this is a museum that focusses on showing the local ecosystem, with an emphasis on the conservation of sea turtles and wildlife. If that is not really your thing, then you can explore the townn instead. Fundo is one of the oldest towns of Boa vista. It is very colorfull and has a lot of history. You'll also have time for some souvenir shopping.

Deserto de Viana

Lastly we drive via the town of Joao galego and route 66 to the viana desert. The desert is one of the most beautiful landscapes of the island. White sanddunes as far as the eye can see. At the viana desert you get some time to sandboard. After this we take you back to the hotel.
