What you can expect

  • Board a heritage train and journey through the spectacular Blue Mountains. Choose from multiple route options, including a return from Clarence to Bottom Points and back, with a stop at Top Points for a locomotive run-around.

    Enjoy the views of sandstone cliffs, lush forests, and sweeping valleys as you travel. At each terminus, watch the steam engine in action as it repositions, and take the opportunity to explore the surroundings, café, shop, and photo stops.

    Learn about the history and engineering significance of the historic line, originally built in the 1860s and now restored and maintained by volunteers. Access station facilities, including a café and souvenir shop, during your visit.

    Take advantage of walkable viewing areas at stations for photo opportunities and scenic landscapes. Note that toilets are available at all stations, but not on board the train.
