It all starts at 6:00 PM when we pick you up directly from your accommodation in Puerto Escondido. Our air-conditioned vehicles, with trained drivers and traveller insurance, will take you comfortably for about one hour to the jetty in the community of El Zapotalito, where the adventure begins.
Upon arrival, our certified tour guide will introduce you to the fascinating phenomenon of bioluminescence and give you safety instructions before boarding the boat.
With your life jacket on, our certified captain will take you into the Chacahua Lagoon, where you can admire the flora, fauna, and a spectacular nocturnal landscape bathed in moonlight.
Among the mangroves, the captain will find the point where the phenomenon is most visible, where the water comes alive with flashes of blue light. Here we'll make a special stop so you can observe it up close and even swim in its luminescent waters, in a safe, controlled, and truly unforgettable environment.
At the end, we'll return to the jetty where our vehicles will be waiting for you to take you back to your accommodation in Puerto Escondido without any hassle.
