Aboard our small Wegebahn train, we will take a leisurely journey through one of the most beautiful regions of Usedom, the Achterland, with its small, almost untouched villages, the adjacent Achterwasser lagoon, and its diverse natural landscape.
We will leave the seaside resorts behind and head towards Benz. Here, we will visit an early Gothic church from the early 13th century, featuring a coffered ceiling decorated with a starry sky. Immerse yourself in the tranquility of the unspoiled landscape. Our journey then continues to Neppermin. Many of the houses have thatched roofs or stand on stone plinths – a true feast for the eyes.
We will drive along the Achterwasser canal, through the towns of Balm and Dewichow, and on to Morgenitz. After that, our Country Cruise will take us to the Rankwitz Harbour. Enjoy the peace and tranquility of the Peenestrom.
At the “Alte Fischräucherei” restaurant, you can expect an extensive selection of oven-fresh smoked fish, as well as roasted and boiled fish specialities. After a hearty meal, you will head to Mellenthin Moated Castle, where you can enjoy a cup of coffee or tour the castle grounds.
Afterwards, you will head back towards the Kaiserbäder.
