I live in this small B&B on a hill, surrounded by nature, in Cassano delle Murge, between Bari and Matera. If you like, you can also sleep at my place!
Together we will knead the dough and prepare orecchiette and cavatelli, our typical fresh pasta. You'll be fascinated by the traditional recipes, the stories about how my grandmother made pasta, and what cooking represented in the past and still partly represents. An immersion in real Apulian life and Italian sociology!
Tatiana will probably also be there, my expert friend and collaborator who teaches through gestures and example; she speaks only Italian but, as always, will be able to communicate with her heart and experience. I, on the other hand, will communicate in English, Italian and French, if necessary even simultaneously.
And, once you're back home, you'll be making your own delicious food, and the memory of what she and I have shown you will be precious to you.
The lunch that follows is collaborative: everyone helps, collaborates and, with dishes and pots in their hands, they also invade my house, to my great pleasure because I have many typical objects that tell the storey of my beloved Puglia.
The wine and the foods I serve with the pasta are all local and mostly from my organic garden; a homely atmosphere and conviviality.
Team building, anniversaries, and parties are perfect here!
You can reach us by car, by bus from Bari, or ask us for a taxi.
Other things to keep in mind: the activity is outdoors, and if necessary, we will move inside.
