Start your journey with a photo stop of Fataga Valley and a visit to Tunte, where you'll find the Casa Los Yánez Ethnographic Museum. Admission is free, and you can explore how the Canarians lived.
The next stop is Tejeda, a charming village located in the interior of the island of Gran Canaria, at an altitude of about 1,000 metres above sea level. Nowadays, it belongs to the Association of the Most Beautiful Villages of Spain. The village is surrounded by mountains, and its whitewashed houses of traditional architecture are beautiful. It also offers views mainly to the Roque Bentayga, but also to the Roque Nublo from some parts of the village, considered one of the largest natural crags in the world. This volcanic rock rises eighty metres above its base and 1,813 metres above sea level. This wild landscape is part of the Sacred Mountains of Gran Canaria, a World Heritage Site.
The last stop on your journey is the municipality of Teror is located in the interior of the island of Gran Canaria. Its old town, the village of Teror, is one of the most beautiful in Gran Canaria. Here you'll find cobbled streets, the Basilica, and the Plaza del Pino. In between staring at the beautiful Canarian houses with their traditional balconies and roaming the pedestrianised cobbled streets, you can find a nice spot to buy lunch here.
