Discover the highlights of Potsdam on a private guided tour. See the Olympic Stadium, Wannsee Villa, Glienicke Bridge, New Garden, Cecilienhof, Alexandrowka, Sanssouci Park, Old Town and the Dutch Quarter.
Your driver/guide will pick you up from your hotel in Berlin in an air-conditioned car or minivan. Go by Charlottenburg Palace and out to the Olympic Stadium first for a photo opportunity in front with the Olympic Rings from the 1936 games.
From there, go on a scenic drive through the Grunewald. A stop at the Wannsee Villa, site of the infamous 1942 Wannsee Conference, is optional. Then continue over the Glienicke Bridge (the “Bridge of Spies”) into Potsdam.
The first stop there is the New Garden with Cecilienhof, site of the 1945 Potsdam Conference. The museum is unfortunately closed for renovation at present. From there, drive through Alexandrowka, a Russian colony, to Sanssouci Park. Enjoy a stroll in the beautiful park with a photo opportunity of the palace.
Later, drive through the Baroque Old Town and also the Dutch Quarter, all together over 400 well-preserved buildings from the 1740's. There will be time for a lunch break (price not included). Return is via Autobahn. The tour will be 6 hours total.
