What you can expect

  • Begin your day with a hotel pickup and head to the Temple of Heaven Park. Meet your instructor and learn about the philosophy behind Tai Chi or Baduanjin, a traditional Chinese exercise. Get personalised guidance on posture and breathing as you practice these ancient movements.

Next, explore the Temple of Heaven Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Admire the traditional Chinese architecture and lush greenery, with over 320 plant species. Visit the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests and the Circular Mound Altar, and learn about their historical significance.

After a break for lunch, visit a traditional Chinese medicine clinic. Meet a senior doctor who will perform a pulse diagnosis, an ancient method that provides personalised health insights. Choose from treatments like Gua Sha, cupping, or moxibustion to balance your body's energy flow.
Finally, head to Beijing's old hutongs for a food tour. Taste at least 5 local snacks and learn about Beijing's authentic lifestyle from your guide. Return to your hotel with a deeper understanding of Chinese culture and wellness.
