You will visit Gubeikou Watertown and Simatai Great Wall with a private car and English -speaking driver or English-speaking guide (choose based on your needs), Pick-up and drop-off at your hotel in Beijing.
Guide Watertown is located in the north of Beijing, It's about 145km from city centre Beijing, It takes about 2hours and 15mintues by car, Gubei Water town has both the solemn atmosphere of the ancient town in the north and the graceful elegance of the water town in the south of the Yangtze River. The buildings are mostly two-story wooden structures of blue brick and grey tile, built by the water, with many Bridges and channels, presenting a unique style of “small South of the North”.
Gubei Water Town offers a rowing programme where you can paddle the Tanghe River and enjoy the scenery on both sides.
At night, the Gubei Water Town is brightly lit, the water town and the Great Wall complement each other, and there are wonderful activities such as drone performance and musical fountain, which bring visitors a unique night tour experience.
When you tired, you can go to Longfengchi Hot Spring in Gubei Water Town to soak your feet, which can help you relax both physically and mentally and relieve fatigue.
The Simatai Great Wall starts from Wangjing Tower in the east and ends at Houchuankou in the west, with a total length of 5.7 kilometres. At present, the open section of the Simatai Great Wall is from Tower 1 to Tower 10 in the eastern section of the Simatai Reservoir, totaling 10 watchtowers.
The Simatai Great Wall is like a giant dragon galloping among the towering and precipitous peaks. Standing on the Great Wall, you can take in the sight of the lush, tiered mountains and the beautiful scenery of the lake and mountains. You can either choose to climb on foot, challenge yourself and experience the majesty and steepness of the Great Wall, or take a cable car to have an aerial view of the entire Great Wall and the surrounding landscape of mountains and waters. In addition, a night tour of the Simatai Great Wall allows you to enjoy the dazzling lights of Gubei Water Town and the night view of the Great Wall under the starry sky, which has a unique charm.

The Simatai Great Wall is divided into day and night sessions. The day session starts ticket checking at 10:00am and stops at 16:10pm. The watchtowers from East 1 to East 10 are open. The night session starts ticket checking at 6:00pm and stops at 9:30pm, it's only open from East 5 to East 8. Please choose your departure time according to your needs.
There will be a drone show every day after dark. The performance time is subject to change, and the viewing location is Riyuedao Square (Sun Moon Island Square). It may be temporarily cancelled due to severe weather or airspace control.
